The Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District operates the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and two public transportation services that run between San Francisco and Marin and Sonoma counties to the north.

Golden Gate Transit bus service runs from Santa Rosa in Sonoma County to San Francisco serving all communities in between. Golden Gate Ferry service runs from the towns of Larkspur, Sausalito, and Tiburon in Marin County into San Francisco. Bus and ferry service operates 7-days a week.

Experience the magic! Ride, walk or drive across the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge. Hop a lift on one of our comfortable and clean Golden Gate Transit buses or, take a scenic ride across the bay on Golden Gate Ferry. Let us take you places!
