Overview
Surisan is one of San Francisco’s newest, most exciting dining destinations. By day it serves an inspired blend of traditional and modern Korean brunch cuisine with items such as Pajun Pancake and Boosted Jook, plus upgraded American comfort food like Stuffed French Toast, Benedicts, and world-famous Millionaire’s Bacon. At night, Surisan’s team of young creative chefs, led by Executive Chef Nick Yoon, creates an elegant contemporary Korean dinner menu that is as much a feast for the eyes and spirit as for the appetite.
Highlights of the menu include our graceful Hamachi Flower sculpted from yellowtail and mango, Penne Bulgogi–a pasta featuring Korea’s famed marinated ribeye dish, and the exciting Dolsot–a dish of seafood, vegetables, egg and rice served on a hot stone pot.
Surisan has a modern interior with a large, sleek outdoor dining deck and bar that allows diners to watch the cable cars and enjoy the sights and sounds of the San Francisco’s famous Fisherman’s Wharf district. However, Surisan is one of the few spots in the area not aimed at tourists. Focused on creating the absolute best food to the highest standards, we combine, top-quality, locally-sourced organic ingredients and a spacious, contemporary design to create an oasis for people who appreciate great food, drink and service.
